Please read the following information carefully before booking a session with Greg V Photos. These policies cover the process before booking, after booking, the photoshoot itself, editing, image delivery, and usage rights.
Before booking a session, please review the detailed appointment process on the Booking Process section on the Read Me page.
Clients must first contact Greg V Photos prior to purchasing/paying for a package, in order to plan the shoot. This step ensures the appropriate package, location, expectations, and availability are confirmed before booking.
If the subject being photographed is a minor, a legal parent or guardian of adult age must be present for the duration of the session.
Clients are expected to book at least 2+ weeks in advance of the desired shoot date. Requests made with less notice may not be accommodated.
Clients must arrive on time for their scheduled session. The photographer will arrive prior to the scheduled start time. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals. A $20 Late Arrival Fee will be added to the booking for Clients who arrive late.
Greg V Photos is not responsible for damages or disruptions caused by factors outside the photographer’s control, including but not limited to injury, illness, weather, loss of digital files, venue restrictions, third-party interference, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Travel fees will apply depending on the shoot location, as Greg V Photos is stationed within the Chicagoland area.

You will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss the requested package, availability, shoot details, and expectations.
Confirm Your Booking
Once all shoot details have been finalized, Clients will either be directed to the Bookings page to officially confirm their appointment through the Greg V Photos website, or have written confirmation of a booking through message communications of the shoot requested, along with necessary details (Date, time, location, package selected, etc.), acknowledged by both parties (Client & Greg V Photos)
At that time, Clients must pay either a 50% non-refundable deposit or the full package amount.
A calendar invite will be sent to confirm and secure the session date and time.
Shoot Day
The session will take place at the scheduled time and location. The photographer may arrive early to prepare, scout the location, and plan initial shots.
If only the deposit was paid at the time of booking, the remaining balance will be due on the day of the shoot.
Clients are expected to arrive on time. Session durations will not be extended for late arrivals. A $20 Late Arrival Fee will be applied if the Client arrives late.
Editing & Delivery
Following the session, the editing process will begin.
Final edited images will be completed and delivered within the turnaround timeframe listed in the selected package, as outlined on the Packages page.
Gallery Upload
Once editing is complete, images will be uploaded to a private, password-protected online gallery.
Clients will be notified when their gallery is ready for viewing.
Final Access
Once final payment has been received, Clients will be provided with the direct gallery link and password, allowing access to download their high-resolution images.
Booking process

Services include:
A timed, in-person photoshoot session at desired location(s)
Use of professional equipment deemed necessary for the shoot by Greg V Photos
Professional photo editing using industry-standard software
All editing and retouching decisions are made at the photographer’s discretion.
Clients are expected to be familiar with Greg V Photos’ work shown through social media prior to booking to understand the editing style, color grading, and retouching approach. Additional or extreme retouching requests may not be accommodated.
Delivery of edited images via a private, password-protected online gallery
The number of edited images delivered is determined by the selected package and is outlined within each package on the Packages page.
Only final, edited images included in the selected package will be delivered. RAW or unedited images are not provided to the Client.
Photo delivery turnaround time varies depending on the package selected. Estimated turnaround times are clearly stated on the Packages page.
Final images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery.
Online galleries will remain available as long as Greg V Photos continues to operate
The original edited files will be contained within secure storage for safekeeping
Clients are responsible for downloading their images from the gallery
If a gallery must be removed from the hosting site, Clients will receive at least a one (1) week notice prior to removal
Once a gallery is removed, you will have to reach out to Greg V Photos to regain access to the edited files
Communication and updates are done via phone, email, or direct messages on social media.
Payments
Accepted payment methods include:
Zelle (Can be used for full payment, 50% deposit, and remaining cost of package selected)
Cash App (Can be used for full payment, 50% deposit, and remaining cost of package selected)
Cash (Can be used for full payment or the remaining cost of package selected)
To secure a date and time, Clients must choose to pay either:
A deposit of 50% of the selected Package, with the remaining 50% paid on the day of the shoot
The full Package amount
If an online deposit is paid, the remaining balance will be collected prior to the photographer beginning the scheduled session.
If the photoshoot location requires a venue, permit, or reservation fee, the fee will either be added to the invoice or paid directly by the Client, depending on venue requirements.
Clients are free to cancel within 72 hours after the booking has been made.
Cancellations requested past those initial 72 hours after booking will result in the following:
If the session was paid with the 50% deposit:
50% of the initial deposit is retained as the cancellation fee.
If the session was paid in full:
75% of the total payment will be refunded
The remaining 25% will serve as the cancellation fee
Clients may reschedule free of charge if requested at least one (1) week prior to the scheduled session date.
Rescheduling requests made within one week of the scheduled session will incur a $50 Late Rescheduling Fee, added to the booking total.
In the event of unsafe or unfavorable weather conditions, sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost. Any weather-related rescheduling fees will be waived.
The safety and time of both the Client and the photographer are a priority, and accommodations will be made whenever possible.
If Greg V Photos must cancel due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, a reschedule will be offered.
If a mutually agreeable reschedule cannot be arranged:
A refund will be provided depending on whether the shoot has already occurred
If the shoot was partially completed, refunds may be prorated based on how much of the session took place

All edited photos provided remain Greg V Photos’ property.
RAW image files are the property of Greg V Photos, as they are not provided to the Client.
Clients are free to use the provided photos for:
Personal use
Social media
Printing and sharing
Commercial use
All that is asked is proper credit to Greg V Photos is required when images are posted publicly (tag, mention, or written credit).
By booking a session, Clients automatically grant Greg V Photos permission to use images for:
Website content
Social media
Portfolio and promotional purposes
